Dublin-Laurens County Humane Society will consider adoptive families in the Dublin and surrounding areas only. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Outside of this area will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the animal's background and your family's needs. Every animal is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We do our best to match the right animal with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring an animal into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
Once approved to adopt, the search for your animal begins. Volunteers will begin to evaluate pets currently in our care who may be a good fit for you and your family, if you haven't already specified one that you are interested in.
