Our Mission
Our mission at DLCHS is to help as many animals as we can and educate as many people that we can in the hope that one day there will be no suffering, over population, or homeless animals.
Our History
The Dublin-Laurens County Humane Society was formed in 1964, with an idea and love for animals. In 1979, DLCHS became incorporated and the building was built in 1980. In 2015, DLCHS made the shift to be a no-kill shelter. Today, we continue to strive to help the dogs and cats in Middle Georgia find their happily ever after.
Our Community
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2024. we will continue to work in our community to make a positive impact in the lives of the animals of Dublin and Laurens County.
